Edmonton Oilers Force Game Seven In Stanley Cup Finals

Edmonton Oilers Force Game Seven in Stanley Cup Finals

Oilers Sizzle to Send Stanley Cup Final to Game 7

Will the Oilers Win Their Sixth Cup or Will the Panthers Take Home Their First?

After three straight wins by Connor McDavid's Edmonton Oilers against the Florida Panthers, the 2024 Stanley Cup Finals are headed to a thrilling Game 7.

The Oilers were looking to become the second team in NHL history to come back from an 0-3 deficit in the Finals. And they did it in style, outscoring the Panthers 15-5 in the three games.

Darnell Nurse and Stuart Skinner were the heroes for the Oilers in Game 6. Nurse scored the game-winning goal in the third period, and Skinner made 31 saves to earn the shutout.

The Panthers will now have to win Game 7 on home ice if they want to win their first Stanley Cup. But the Oilers are playing with confidence, and they'll be looking to close out the series in front of their home crowd.

Game 7 is set for Wednesday night at Rogers Place in Edmonton. The puck drops at 8 p.m. ET.
