Since the Premier League's inception in 1992, seven teams have held first or joint first place in the number of titles won. These teams are Preston North End (1889-1895), Sunderland (1893-1899), Arsenal FC (3 titles since 1992), Manchester United (13 titles), Blackburn Rovers (1 title), Chelsea FC (5 titles), and Manchester City FC (6 titles). Of these teams, Manchester United has the most titles, with 13.
Arsenal FC's Premier League Titles
Arsenal FC has won three Premier League titles since the league's current inception in 1992. All three of these titles came in the first 12 years of the league's existence. Arsenal's first Premier League title came in the 1997-1998 season. The team's second title came in the 2001-2002 season. Arsenal's third and most recent Premier League title came in the 2003-2004 season.
