Arsenal FC's Title Hopes Dented by Aston Villa's Late Comeback

Arsenal's Premier League Title Hopes Suffer Massive Setback

Aston Villa Stuns Gunners with 2-0 Win at Emirates

Arsenal FC's Premier League title hopes took a major hit on Saturday as they succumbed to a disappointing 2-0 defeat at home to Aston Villa. The result leaves the Gunners trailing leaders Manchester United by five points with just seven games remaining.

The visitors took the lead in the 78th minute through a deflected strike from Ollie Watkins. Arsenal pushed for an equalizer but were dealt a blow when Sead Kolasinac was sent off in the 81st minute. Villa then sealed the victory in stoppage time through a converted penalty by Jack Grealish.

The loss was Arsenal's second in a row in the Premier League, following their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend. The Gunners now face an uphill battle to secure their first league title since 2004.
